Twelve fixtures on the NPFL card, eight in the Premier League. We've put out three singles, one acca and two value leans. Stakes in units. Results published Sunday.

Best bet of the day
Rangers vs Enyimba — NPFL
Rangers to win & Over 1.5 goals

Rangers have dropped two points at home all season. Enyimba travel without their first-choice keeper and have conceded 2+ in 6 of their last 9 on the road. The combo pays better than the straight win and the BTTS.

Why Bets.ng

Hand-picked operators, tested by Nigerians.

We don't publish every site that offers us a commission. We publish the six that survived our checklist, and we keep testing them.

Nigerian editor researching odds at a Lagos cafe

Hand-picked, not algorithm-picked.

Our shortlist is six operators out of the thirty-plus that would happily pay us a commission. If a book fails our KYC test or ducks a withdrawal, it doesn't make the list. Full stop.

Nigerian editor comparing odds on dual monitors in Abuja

Real odds, tested on real bets.

We pull odds every Friday across six books and fifteen leagues. Our "best odds" column is not a press release. It is the median of a hundred real tickets.

Nigerian fans celebrating an NPFL goal at a Lagos sports pub

Backed by a real Nigerian team.

Tolu presents football on SuperSport. Chinwe runs the payments lab in Abuja. Emeka writes the tips from PH. If you ring the helpline, one of them will pick up.

This week's best

Two picks worth your Saturday.

We surface one welcome offer and one operator every Monday. Tolu's notes, not a press release.

Pick of the week · Welcome bonus

200% up to ₦200,000 welcome bonus at 1xBet.

Min deposit NGN 400. Bonus unlocks on 3-leg accumulators at 1.40+ odds. The easiest naira welcome we've tested this quarter.

★ 9.1/10 Code NEWBONUS
Why this, why now? 1xBet has been our steadiest naira book through 2026. OPay deposits settle in under 30 seconds; withdrawals to GTBank landed in 18 minutes on our last four tests.

Editor's call · NPFL specialist

Melbet: the deepest NPFL market set we track.

200% up to ₦320,000 welcome bonus. Qualifying deposit NGN 455. Live streaming on Rangers, Enyimba and the full top flight.

★ 8.9/10 Code NEWBONUS
Why we rate it. If you bet NPFL, Melbet is the only book where you can get both player props and Asian handicaps on the same match. The 200% welcome is cream on top.

What readers say

Nigerian punters. Real names. Real neighbourhoods.

Unedited reader notes from our 2026 survey. Names shortened to last initial by request.

“I've lost money to three different review sites that basically copy-pasted 1xBet's own FAQ. Bets.ng is the first one that actually walked me through a Melbet withdrawal when OPay was being slow on a Sunday night. They called me back.”
Damilola A. · Surulere, Lagos · 12 April 2026
“The weekend NPFL preview from Tolu is just different. You can tell he watches the matches. My Rangers -0.5 single last Saturday cashed because of that write-up.”
Kunle S. · Wuse, Abuja · 4 April 2026
“I'm not a gambler, I just do the occasional accumulator on Saturdays. Their "How to read odds" page is the clearest thing I've ever read. Sent it to my younger brother.”
Blessing I. · Port Harcourt · 28 March 2026

Our story

“I've spent nine years on Nigerian football TV. I got tired of reading reviews written by people who'd never deposited on OPay at midnight.”

I'm Tolu. I started presenting live football on SuperSport in 2017, run the Bundesliga and Serie A desk at AfroSport, and spent four years running the football desk at freetips.com. When friends asked me which betting site to use, I didn't have an answer I actually trusted, so I set up Bets.ng.

We are six people in Lagos, Abuja and Port Harcourt. We only cover operators we've opened accounts with. We publish losing weeks on the tips page. And we'll pick up the phone — really — if you ring the Lagos line below.

Common questions

Straight answers.

Yes. Betting is regulated at the state level. The Supreme Court dissolved the National Lottery Regulatory Commission in November 2024, and regulation now sits with state authorities like the Lagos State Lotteries and Gaming Authority. Nigerian players may use offshore operators licensed abroad, and every site listed on Bets.ng holds an international licence.

Depends what you want. 1xBet and Melbet are the naira heavyweights. Stake leads on odds and crypto speed. 1Win has the friendliest casino, Betwinner is the easiest to use, Paripesa is the fastest-settling newcomer. Our rankings update weekly and Tolu signs off on every score.

Yes, with five of our six operators. 1xBet, 1Win, Melbet, Betwinner and Paripesa accept OPay, PalmPay, Paystack, Monnify, bank transfer, USSD and cards. Stake is crypto-only because Nigerian banks cannot route direct crypto transfers. We've tested every rail ourselves.

18. Every operator we cover runs full age verification and will not pay out to underage accounts. Please gamble responsibly — if it's not fun any more, please stop.

Operators pay us a commission when a reader signs up through one of our links. This never changes our scores or our editorial. Full details on the Affiliate Disclosure page.
