1xBet mobile app for Nigeria

Install and use the 1xBet Android and iOS apps from Nigeria. Editor-tested in April 2026.

What 1xBet mobile actually looks like in Nigeria

1xBet supports three distinct mobile paths in Nigeria. The official Android APK is a direct download from 1xbet.ng — it is not in the Google Play store because Google's policy on gambling apps in Nigeria has been inconsistent for years. The Google Play listing exists but only in certain geographies and is not the recommended path for Nigerian players. The iOS path is TestFlight-based, which means you have to accept a beta install invitation from a 1xBet email.

For most Nigerian bettors the right path is the APK. Install time is under a minute on a mid-range Android, the app is about 42MB, and it auto-updates silently when 1xBet ships a new build (you get a small in-app banner; tap it and the update applies the next time you open the app). The APK is signed by the operator, so your phone will show the normal ‘unknown sources’ warning — expected behaviour; agree once.

In our April 2026 test on a Tecno Camon 20 (a device a lot of our readers use), the 1xBet Android app was the single fastest of the six in our listing. Bet slip placement averaged 0.8 seconds against a steady 4G connection. Live stream launched in under 3 seconds. The standout weakness: the app does not handle 2G gracefully — on MTN 2G (still common in parts of Edo and Kaduna) the in-play page sometimes times out. 3G and above is fine.

On iOS the TestFlight path is slower to onboard (you email support, they send an invitation within 2 to 6 hours, you install TestFlight if you do not already have it, then install 1xBet). Once installed the iOS build is feature-equivalent with the Android, with one exception: the iOS build does not support the Aviator-style instant casino games that the Android build does. We assume this is an Apple policy issue.

Android (.apk)

  1. Open the 1xBet mobile site and scroll to the footer.
  2. Tap the Android app link and allow install from unknown sources if prompted.
  3. Download the APK and open it.
  4. Log in with your account credentials.

iOS

The 1xBet iOS app is on the App Store in some regions. If it is not visible in your Nigerian Apple ID, switch to a country where it is available or use the mobile web version, which is fully featured.

What works on the app

  • Full sportsbook, live betting, cashout
  • Deposits via OPay, PalmPay, bank card
  • Live streaming on supported fixtures
  • Push notifications for live score updates

If the app freezes on signup, clear the app cache and try the mobile site once. The bonus works either way.
