About Emeka
Emeka Nwosu writes Bets.ng's daily tips across football (EPL, La Liga, NPFL), basketball and tennis. He spent four seasons on the football trading desk at a European betting exchange and holds a BSc in Statistics from the University of Ibadan. His tips focus on value, not favourites, with a preference for Asian handicaps and player-prop markets. We publish his full results record including losing weeks.
“I'd rather show you a losing month than hide one. Losing tipsters who pretend to win forever are the reason Nigerian bettors stay broke.”
— Emeka Nwosu
Career
Emeka writes the daily tips. Before Bets.ng he spent four seasons on the football trading desk at a European betting exchange where he priced in-play markets for top-five European leagues and Asian handicaps across Asian morning kickoffs. His edge has always been pricing the draw in African derbies and reading ref tendencies in the NPFL.
Emeka holds a BSc in Statistics from the University of Ibadan (2015). He wrote his final-year project on expected-goals models for Nigerian Premier Football League fixtures, using a dataset he hand-compiled from match tape (because public NPFL xG data simply did not exist at the time). The project supervisor still jokes that Emeka has not stopped annotating matches since.
At Bets.ng, Emeka owns every picks that appears under his name. He also owns the results log. We publish every W, L, and void, running settlement math in public. The strike rate is in the mid-50s on 2-leg accas and high-40s on 3-leg — honest numbers, not the fake 85% strike rates you see on Telegram.

- Thursday: ref, squad news and xG number crunch, cuts the picks list to 3
- Friday: final lines check across the six Bets.ng brands, chooses the best-price sportsbook per pick
- Saturday/Sunday: matchday live-tracks picks, posts in-play adjustments on the daily tips page

Off the record
Emeka is a Rivers United fan, a loyal Tuskers weissbier drinker, and keeps every single betting slip (wins and losses) in a shoebox. He says one day he'll scan them all. We believe him when we see the shoebox.
