Bet9ja mobile app for Nigeria
Install and use the Bet9ja Android and iOS apps from Nigeria. Editor-tested in April 2026.
What Bet9ja mobile actually looks like in Nigeria
Bet9ja's Android app is available directly from bet9ja.com as a 42MB APK download. It is not on Google Play, which means you need to allow installs from unknown sources in your Android settings. The process takes about 60 seconds. The app is updated roughly every six weeks, and the site prompts you to download the latest version when you log in on a build that is out of date.
The interface mirrors the website closely. The homepage loads your pre-selected favourite teams, a running NPFL league table widget, and a live odds ticker on in-progress matches. Navigation tabs sit at the bottom of the screen: Sportsbook, Live, Casino, Virtuals, Booking Code. The booking-code tab is Bet9ja's strongest differentiator. You can type any Bet9ja slip code shared by a friend or community group and load, review and stake on it in three taps.
Performance on our April 2026 test (Samsung A23 on Airtel 4G in Lagos): app load from cold open to home screen in 2.1 seconds. Bet-slip placement 1.6 seconds. Live in-play page load 3.4 seconds, which is slower than SportyBet or 1xBet but acceptable. The booking-code load was instant, which is the one speed test Bet9ja consistently wins.
iOS users: there is a Bet9ja iOS app but its App Store presence in Nigeria has been inconsistent. As of April 2026 it is available on a South African Apple ID but not visible on Nigerian App IDs. iPhone users either switch their region or use the Safari mobile site, which is full-featured. Bet9ja's Safari experience is one of the better mobile-web experiences of the licensed Nigerian operators.
