How an acca works
An accumulator combines multiple selections into a single bet. Every leg must win for the bet to pay. The odds multiply, which is why returns grow so quickly, and why accas are fun but high-variance.
Example: four legs at 1.80 each. Combined odds = 1.80 × 1.80 × 1.80 × 1.80 = 10.50. A NGN 1,000 stake returns NGN 10,500, a profit of NGN 9,500. Lose one leg, lose the lot.

What this calculator does
Enter the stake and decimal odds for up to 12 legs of an accumulator. The calculator returns the cumulative decimal odds (product of all legs), the potential total payout, and the implied probability of the whole acca landing.
Worked example
Four legs at 1.70, 1.90, 2.10 and 2.25. Cumulative odds: 1.70 x 1.90 x 2.10 x 2.25 = 15.27. N500 stake. Total payout: 15.27 x 500 = N7,635. Implied probability of hit: 1 / 15.27 = 6.55%. That is a one-in-15 chance.
Margin compounding
If each leg has a 2% bookmaker margin, the acca has roughly a 1.02^4 = 8.2% compounded margin. That is why long accas are harder to beat than singles, mathematically.
Our rule of thumb
Three to four legs is the realistic sweet spot. Eight legs is a lottery ticket. Twelve legs is a waste of a stake.
