What Melbet mobile actually looks like in Nigeria

Melbet's Nigerian mobile story is APK-only on Android (no Google Play listing) and TestFlight on iOS. The APK is available at melbet.ng, signed by the operator, around 45MB. The install flow is identical to 1xBet's (same underlying technology platform) — accept the unknown-source warning once, agree to the Melbet T&Cs on first launch, you're in.

In our April 2026 test the Melbet Android app was functionally indistinguishable from the 1xBet Android app. Same underlying platform means the same bet-slip, same in-play, same live streaming, same cash-out. Performance was within 5% of 1xBet on the same Tecno Camon 20 test device — a slip-to-confirm of 0.85 seconds for Melbet vs 0.80 seconds for 1xBet.

Where Melbet differs materially is in the onboarding and the bonus flow. First-launch on the Melbet app gives you a clearer walk-through of the welcome bonus setup than 1xBet does, with a step-by-step that the first-time bettor will find genuinely useful. 1xBet assumes you know what you are doing; Melbet holds your hand. For a new bettor, that is a real advantage.

iOS TestFlight onboarding is the same as 1xBet: email Melbet support, wait 2 to 8 hours for the TestFlight invitation, install, you are in. The iOS build has a noticeably smaller casino catalogue than the Android build — this is a common operator compromise to fit Apple's review policies.
