Stake mobile app for Nigeria

Install and use the Stake Android and iOS apps from Nigeria. Editor-tested in April 2026.

What Stake mobile actually looks like in Nigeria

Stake does not publish a dedicated Nigerian Android APK. The mobile experience is a web app — open stake.com in Chrome, tap the menu, choose ‘Install app’ and it will pin a Stake icon to your home screen that behaves almost exactly like a native app. For iOS, the same Safari ‘Add to Home Screen’ approach works.

The web-app approach has two concrete advantages: it always runs the latest version the moment Stake deploys it, and it does not take up app-store slots or trigger a Google Play update prompt every week. It has one concrete disadvantage: no push notifications on iOS (a Webkit limitation, not a Stake limitation). If live-match notifications matter to you, make sure your account email is on a device you actually check.

In our April 2026 test, the Stake web app on a Samsung A34 and an iPhone 13 was indistinguishable from native in every interaction except push. Deposit entry, bet-slip placement, live streaming, cash-out, account settings — all equally responsive. A live El Clasico bet with a N10,000 stake went from slip to confirmed in 1.4 seconds on the A34 and 0.9 seconds on the iPhone.

There is no Stake app in the Google Play store or the Apple App Store in Nigeria, so if someone sends you a link to a ‘Stake app’ in either store, treat it as fraudulent and report it. The only legitimate Stake mobile experience is via stake.com itself. Crypto wallet apps (Trust Wallet, MetaMask, Binance) are separate from Stake — you need them installed if you intend to deposit, but that is the wallet, not the sportsbook.

Android (.apk)

  1. Open the Stake mobile site and scroll to the footer.
  2. Tap the Android app link and allow install from unknown sources if prompted.
  3. Download the APK and open it.
  4. Log in with your account credentials.

iOS

The Stake iOS app is on the App Store in some regions. If it is not visible in your Nigerian Apple ID, switch to a country where it is available or use the mobile web version, which is fully featured.

What works on the app

  • Full sportsbook, live betting, cashout
  • Deposits via OPay, PalmPay, bank card
  • Live streaming on supported fixtures
  • Push notifications for live score updates

If the app freezes on signup, clear the app cache and try the mobile site once. The bonus works either way.
