Deposit USDT to your sportsbook in 5 minutes
Bybit P2P, Binance P2P, and Yellowcard. The three Nigerian-friendly USDT funding paths, ranked by speed and cost.

USDT is the fastest way to deposit at offshore sportsbooks like Stake, BC.Game, Cloudbet, Roobet, and Bitstarz from Nigeria. No bank flagging, no failed Visa cards, no "transaction unsuccessful" loops. This guide walks through the three Nigerian-friendly funding paths in order of speed and cost.
Path 1: Bybit P2P (recommended)
Bybit accepts naira via bank transfer through its peer-to-peer marketplace. Five minutes from sign up to your first USDT in the wallet.
- Sign up at bybit.com, complete KYC with NIN. Approval is usually instant.
- Go to Buy Crypto, P2P Trading, choose USDT, payment method NGN bank transfer.
- Sort by price ascending. Pick a verified merchant with at least 95% completion rate.
- Place the order, transfer NGN from your bank app to the merchant's account, mark paid.
- USDT lands in your Funding wallet. Move it to your Spot wallet, then withdraw to the sportsbook USDT address. Network: TRC20 for lowest fees, ERC20 only if the sportsbook does not support TRC20.
Realistic timing: 5 to 15 minutes end to end. Realistic cost: 1 to 2% spread over the official USD rate, plus a TRC20 network fee of around NGN 350 equivalent.
Path 2: Binance P2P
Binance closed direct naira services in 2024 but the P2P marketplace is still active for Nigerian users. The flow is identical to Bybit. Slightly tighter spreads, slightly slower KYC. Use Binance if you already have an account, otherwise Bybit is faster to set up in 2026.
Path 3: Yellowcard
Yellowcard is a Nigerian-licensed crypto exchange. The flow is direct: deposit NGN, buy USDT, withdraw. No P2P haggling. The trade-off is a higher spread, typically 2 to 3% above the official rate. Use Yellowcard if you want a fully regulated path and you do not mind paying a small premium.
Common mistakes
- Wrong network. Sending TRC20 USDT to an ERC20 address loses the funds. Always copy paste the deposit address from the sportsbook and check the network matches.
- Insufficient gas. ERC20 withdrawals from Bybit need a small ETH balance for gas. TRC20 needs TRX. Bybit usually covers this automatically but Binance does not.
- KYC name mismatch. The bank account you fund Bybit from must be in your name. The sportsbook account you withdraw to must also be in your name. If they do not match, the sportsbook will lock the deposit.
- Memo or destination tag. Some sportsbooks require a memo on USDT deposits, especially BC.Game on the BSC network. Always check the deposit screen for memo requirements.
Withdrawing winnings back to naira
Reverse the flow. Withdraw USDT from the sportsbook to your Bybit Funding wallet, sell USDT for NGN on P2P, the merchant transfers NGN to your bank within 10 minutes. Total round trip from sportsbook withdrawal to NGN in your bank: 30 to 60 minutes. Faster than every Nigerian-licensed sportsbook except SportyBet on a good day.
